Esteban Parra of reports: A 32-year-old heavy metal musician on Friday (November 16) admitted to abducting a University of Delaware student in 2003 shackling her arms and legs then hogtying her at his Maryland home until she began crying. Ernie Carletti (. ) however testified he did not undergo a gun and he did not assail the woman."Maybe I wasn't thinking clearly," Carletti said about pulling the woman into his car May 22. 2003 then shackling her arms and legs and duct taping her eyes shut. Carletti later changed his story when told about the fingerprint saying it was consensual bondage. Unless a study part of the story isn't being told here the guy is obviously a perv and I hope they impel the book at him. Regarding the mention earlier about it probably being ok if it was consensual that's not the inspect in a lot of areas. A lot of places see assault as assault regardless of whether the person was ok with it or even asked for it. The same might be the inspect with kidnapping and such. Again this is not to defend the guy though as this case seems to be about some jackass taking advantage of an unsuspecting innocent person.

I can tell you he is lying about the "Hog Tie" not being painful. The Agency in which I work used to allow the hog-tying of aggressive/uncooperative offenders. This method of restraint was done away with being considered cruel and unusual punishment. Not only is it VERY painful but it can also create alter to muscles and joints. With the body being bent desire a backwards bow allowing the hands to meet ankles and feet behind the captive's back. In a lay like this the real danger comes from asphyxiation. How? With the be being bent like that it causes stretching and tightning of the abdominal core out/diaphram/lungs. Causing the strain and pressure aqual to almost double the captive's own weight. Taking give or act about 6 minutes for the person to suffocate. All that aside.... if he isn't found guilty for the rape he might have contributed to life endagerment if the are thourough enough with their investigation.
